HEAD COACH: MARK REED
(Career Goshen Wins - 18 games)
The 2013 season will be Coach Reed's third year as head coach of the Goshen varsity baseball team. Reed came to Goshen in 2010 after coaching 3 years with the Fairfield Indians. Two of those seasons were spent being the Freshman assistant where he helped compile a 35-8 record and 2 GMC Championships. His last year at Fairfield in 2009 he assisted the JV team in winning the GMC Championship with a season ending record of 20-4. Coach Reed hopes to bring similar success to the Goshen Warriors for the 2013 season and beyond.
ASSISTANT COACH: JAKE PENNIX
Coach Pennix will once again be Reed's right hand man as he too enters his third year on the varsity level. Pennix has been with the Goshen program for the past six years where he has also been the junior varsity head coach, freshman coach as well as a varsity assistant. Coach Pennix will be working specifically with the catchers as well as the outfielders for the 2013 season. His passion for the game and his many years of experience coaching within the SBAAC makes Pennix a formidable piece to this coaching staff.
