    GOSHEN YOUTH FOOTBALL LAURA ASHCRAFT SCHOLARSHIP
    $1,250 Scholarship for a Goshen High School Senior Athlete/Volunteer. Applicants must have played varsity sports at Goshen High School or participated by volunteering at Goshen High School for community service and have at least a 2.0 GPA. Application are available in the guidance office are due May 3, 2010.
    THE KAREN & WARREN HAUG YWCA EASTERN AREA SCHOLARSHIP
    This scholarship for $1,000 is for female graduating seniors who reside in Clermont, Brown, or Adams County and attend a Clermont, Brown, or Adams county high school. Applications are available in the guidance office. Applications must be received by April 12, 2010.

    GOSHEN EDUCATION ASSOCIATION SCHOLARSHIP

    The Goshen Education Association is again sponsoring scholarships for Goshen High School seniors. Applicants must have at least a 3.0 GPA and demonstrate financial need. Application deadline is March 26, 2010. Applications are available in the guidance office. Education majors may be given special consideration but it is not a requirement for winning.

    THE PHYSICIANS' CHARITABLE FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP

    A number of scholarships, in varying amounts, will be awarded at the close of the 2009-2010 school year to students in this area who plan to pursue a career in the health care field. Applications are available in the guidance office. Deadline for submission is April 15, 2010.

    2010 STUDENTS OF INTEGRITY SCHOLARSHIP FOR JUNIORS

    The Cincinnati Better Business Bureau Foundation offers five $1,000 scholarships for current Juniors. Applicants must write a 1,000 word essay and winners are selected only on the basis of the essay. Applications are available in the guidance office. Essays must be submitted by noon on Monday, May 17, 2010.

    CHOOSE APPALACHIAN TEACHING SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

    This scholarship program will award $13,000 to $16,000 to students seeking to become math or science teachers for grades 7-12 in an appalachian county in Ohio. These scholarships are available at Marietta College, Muskingum University, Ohio University, Shawnee State University, the University of Rio Grande and at Ohio University's regional campuses.     DEBBIE MOORE MEMORIAL EQUINE SCHOLARSHIP

    The Debbie Moore Memorial Equine Scholarship is a $500 award to a graduating senior aspiring to a career with horses. Occupations such as farriers, equine dentists, horse trainers, horse breeders, equine veterinarians, breeding farm managers, and the like are all suitable aspirations. Applications are due April 10, 2010. Applications are available in the guidance office.

    SPRINGMAN SCHOLARSHIPS

    Applications for the 2010 Edgar Springman Scholarship are available in the guidance office. Application deadline is May 3, 2010. Only Goshen High School Graduates are eligible for this scholarship.

    PYTHIAN SISTERS OF OHIO SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

    Five $2,500 and five $1,000 scholarships will be awarded by the Pythian Sisters of Ohio. The program is open to any senior in Ohio. Deadline for application is May 31, 2010. Applications are available in the guidance office.

    STUDENT INSIGHTS SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

    Student Insights is offering $8,000 worth of scholarships to high school seniors. Simply log on to www.student-view.com and complete a 15-20 minute survey about colleges in your area. Winners are chosen at random from completed surveys.

    YELLOW RIBBON SUPPORT CENTER SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

    In an effort to keep the memories of three fallen heroes from Clermont County and American Legion Post 72 alive, three $500 scholarships, one in each of their names, will be awarded to a Clermont County senior this year. The heroes whose memories are being honored are: Army SSG Matt Maupin, Marine SSGT Mark Wojciechowski, and Army SPC Greg Missman. In order to qualify for a $500 scholarship, seniors must submit an essay of approximately 500 words describing "What Patriotism Means to Me" and complete a short application. Applications are available in the guidance office and must be received by April 1, 2010.

    BEST BUY SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

    Scholarships are for high school seniors who have strong academics and have volunteered in the school and community. Go to http://bestbuy.scholarshipamerica.org to apply and for more information.

    CINCINNATI SCHOLARSHIP FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

    The Cincinnati Scholarship Foundation administers over 80 separate scholarships for seniors in the Greater Cincinnati Area. To be considered for any CSF scholarship financial need must be proven by completing the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid). Applications are available in the guidance office. Applications must be postmarked by the April 30th deadline.

    MERCY HOSPITAL CLERMONT SCHOLARSHIP

    Mercy Hospital Clermont is offering three $1,000
    scholarships for 2010 graduates. Applicants must be
    accepted in an educational program in the health care
    field - medicine, nursing, radiological technology,
    medical technology, physical therapy, pharmacy, etc. and
    have a minimum of a 2.5 GPA. Applicants must also live in
    ClermontCounty and demonstrate participation in
    school/community activities. Applications are available
    in the guidance office and must be received by March 24,
    2010.
    BUTLERVILLE LODGE #135 F & A.M. ROBERT WILLIAMS MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP
    Applications for the Robert Williams Memorial Scholarship are available in the guidance office. The scholarship is administered by the Butlerville Lodge #135 F & A.M. Deadline is March 19, 2010.

    Seniors can go to www.collegeprowler.com/scholarship to apply for a $2,000 "No Essay" scholarship. Winners are drawn randomly every month.

    HOXWORTHBLOODCENTER SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

    Six scholarships will be awarded by HoxworthBloodCenter to graduating seniors in the Hoxworth service area which includes southwestern Ohio. Top candidates should excel in academics, school-related activities, and community service activities, with a specific emphasis on involvement in the community blood program. Applicants must have a minimum 2.5 GPA. Application due date is Friday, March 26. Applications are available in the guidance office or at www.hoxworth.org/highschool.

    ABBOTT AND FENNER SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

    Abbott & Fenner Business Consultants are pleased to be able to continue with their scholarship program again this year. They will be awarding $1,000 scholarships to the winners. Students must submit an essay on the topic that appears on the scholarship page of their web site http://www.abbottandfenner.com/scholarships.htm. Scholarship deadline is June 19, 2010.

    NATIONAL CO-OP SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

    National Co-op Scholarship - Applicants must have a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or better on a 4.0 scale. Scholarships are available through eight colleges: Drexel University, Johnson & Wales University, Kettering University, Pace University, Rochester Institute of Technology, Wentworth Institute of Technology, University of Toledo and the University of Cincinnati. Applications are available in the guidance office.
