    ABBOTT AND FENNER SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

    Abbott & Fenner Business Consultants are pleased to be able to continue with their scholarship program again this year. They will be awarding $1,000 scholarships to the winners. Students must submit an essay on the topic that appears on the scholarship page of their web site http://www.abbottandfenner.com/scholarships.htm. Scholarship deadline is June 19, 2010.

    THE CIRCUIT SCHOLARSHIP

    The Circuit is the IT Association for the Cincinnati Region. The purpose of the Circuit Scholarship is to promote the study of computer-related subjects by students in the Greater Cincinnati area. Applicants must be a resident of the Greater Cincinnati Metropolitan area (defined as Hamilton, Brown, Butler, Clermont, and Warren counties in Ohio), demonstrate a proven ability in a computer-related area and have a declared major in a field relating to computers in a two or four year college or university in the Greater Cincinnati area. Accepted colleges and majors are listed on the application. The deadline for application is December 31, 2009. Applications are available in the guidance office.

    BIG 33 SCHOLARSHIP- High School seniors in Pennsylvania and Ohio can apply for scholarships by accessing the Big 33 website www.big33.org. Students can apply from October 26, 2009 to February 13, 2010.

    National Co-op Scholarship - Applicants must have a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or better on a 4.0 scale. Scholarships are available through eight colleges: Drexel University, Johnson & Wales University, Kettering University, Pace University, Rochester Institute of Technology, Wentworth Institute of Technology, University of Toledo and the University of Cincinnati. Applications are available in the guidance office.

    BURGER KING SCHOLARS PROGRAM

    The Burger King Scholars Program helps graduating high school seniors with $1,000 scholarships. Students can go to www.haveityourwayfoundation.org and use access key BKS to complete the online application. The application process is open until February 1, 2010. Burger King also sponsors employee scholarships. Employees can access the online application at www.haveityourwayfoundation.org with the access key BKE. The application process for employees closes on February 15, 2010.

    CINCINNATI CHAPTER OF THE OHIO CREDIT UNION LEAGUE SCHOLARSHIP

    Seniors who are a member of a credit union in Hamilton, Clermont, Adams, or Brown County can apply for one of nine $1,000 scholarships to be awarded this year. Applications are available in the guidance office. Application deadline is February 12, 2010.

    CINCINNATUS SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

    Students who have a 3.2 GPA and apply to the University of Cincinnati by December 1, 2009 may be considered for the Cincinnatus Scholarship Program. The highest achieving students in their selected programs will be reviewed for Cincinnatus. Eligible students will be awarded a Century scholarship ($2,000 a year) or be invited to compete on campus for University ($3,500 a year), Founders ($6,000 a year), or Cincinnatus-level ($20,000 a year). All Scholarships may be renewed for the length of one's undergraduate academic program providing the student maintains a 3.2 GPA and completes the annual 30 hour community service requirement.
