    AFSA-AMERICAN FIRE SPRINKLER ASSOCIATION-SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

    THE MERCY HOSPITAL CLERMONT PHYSICIANS' SCHOLARSHIP AWARD

    The Medical Staff of Mercy Hospital Clermont is offering scholarships for seniors who are planning to pursue a career in the health care field. Applications are available in the guidance office and are due April 1, 2011.

    THE GE - REAGAN FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP ON FACEBOOK

    The GE - Reagan Foundation Scholarships is on Facebook. The foundation is rewarding up to 20 students each year with a renewable scholarship of $10,000 annually, potentially up to $40,000 per recipient. Students must access the application from Facebook.

    THE HEALTHY LIFESTYLES SCHOLARSHIP

    The Healthy Lifestyles Scholarship was established in memory of Joan Whitworthe. A $5,000 scholarship is awarded annually. Information about the scholarship and the application process can be found at www.fitnessexercises.tv/scholarships.php.

    DIAL MY DENTIST SCHOLARSHIP

    Dial My Dentist is offering a $1,000 scholarship to high school seniors. To apply and get more information go to www.dentalmarketingplans.com/scholarships.php. Deadline for application is May 6, 2011.

    THE BIG DIG SCHOLARSHIP

    The Big Dig Scholarship is open to high school seniors. A $3,000 scholarship will be awarded to the winner. For more information and the application process go to www.antiquetrader.tv/studentscholarship.php. Deadline for application is June 1, 2011.

    THE ROBERT WILLIAMS MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP

    The Robert Williams Memorial Scholarship from Butlerville Lodge #135 F. & A.M. is now available. The scholarship is for $500 and the deadline for application is April 8, 2011. Applications are available in the guidance office.

    THE CLERMONT COUNTY COUNSELORS ASSOCIATION SCHOLARSHIP

    The Clermont County Counselors Association is offering $500 scholarships again this year. Applicants must plan to enter the field of education and have a GPA of 3.0 or higher. The application is available in the guidance office and is due by March 24, 2011.

    THE CLERMONT COUNTY RETIRED TEACHERS ASSOCIATION SCHOLARSHIP

    The CLermont County Retired Teachers Association Scholarship is open to graduating seniors who plan to become teachers. Applications are due April 11, 2011. Applications are available in the guidance office.

    THE SIXTH MASONIC DISTRICT ASSOCIATION SCHOLARSHIP

    The Sixth Masonic District Association is pleased to be able to offer two $1,000 scholarships this year. Applications are available in the guidance office. Applications must be submitted by March 1, 2011. Winning applicants must be able to attend an awards meeting on May 6, 2011.

    THE DEBBIE MOORE MEMORIAL EQUINE SCHOLARSHIP

    The Debbie Moore Memorial Equine Scholarship is a $500 award offered to a graduating senior aspiring to a career with horses. Applications are due April 16, 2011. Applications are available in the guidance office.

    THE UC CLERMONT COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

    The 2011-2012 UC Clermont College scholarship process has changed: Students MUST submit their scholarship applications vie email to clermontscholarships@us.edu. Applications submitted by paper will not be reviewed by the selection committee. The scholarship booklet and the scholarship application are available on the main page of the UC Clermont website: www.ucclermont.edu. Please click on the "Scholarship Application" button on the left hand side of the page. Students will have until March 28, 2011 to submit their scholarship applications.

    THE BUICK ACHIEVERS SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

    The Buick Achievers Scholarship Program is for seniors who plan to major in a course of study that focuses on STEM (Science,Technology, Engineering, or Math). Select Design, Marketing, Accounting, Finance and Business majors are also eligible. Scholarship recipients must demonstrate an interest in pursuing a career in the automotive or related industries.     OHIO COOPERATIVE EDUCATION ASSOCIATION SCHOLARSHIP

    The Ohio Cooperative Education Association (OCEA) is an organization of employers and two and four year colleges/universities whose mission is to promote the awareness of cooperative education throughout the state. This $1,000 scholarship is awarded to an Ohio high school senior with at least a 3.4 GPA who will enroll at an OCEA member college/university. Member schools are: Bowling Green State University, College of Mount St. Joseph, Miami University, Northern Kentucky University, Ohio State University, Tiffin University, University of Cincinnati, University of Dayton, Wright State University, Xavier University, Cincinnati State Technical & Community College and Sinclair Community College. Deadline for application is March 21, 2011. Applications are available in the guidance office.

    CURRENT SURFACES, INC. TRACK ATHLETE SCHOLARSHIP

    Current Surfaces, Inc. is offering its sixth annual Current Surfaces, Inc. Track Athlete Scholarship. The $1,000 scholarship is for seniors who have three or more years of track participation; this may include the 2011 track season. Applications are available in the guidance office. Deadline for application is April 23, 2011.

    JAMES KURA MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP

    The James Kura Memorial Scholarship Competition is sponsored by the Ohio Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. A $1,000 scholarship will be awarded to the top 3 essay writers who respond to the question posed. To qualify seniors must have a 2.5 GPA. Applications are available in the guidance office. Applications must be submitted by April 1, 2011.

    GOSHEN WARRIOR SCHOLARSHIP FUND

    The Goshen Warrior Scholarship Fund will award four $500 scholarships this year to Goshen High seniors who are planning to pursue higher education other than a traditional college. Applicants must have a 2.5 GPA, have a clear career goal and the desire to reach that goal and submit to a criminal background check. Applications are available in the guidance office. Deadline for application is April 1, 2011.

    MERCY HOSPITAL CLERMONT GUILD AND FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP

    Mercy Hospital Clermont Guild and Foundation are pleased to announce they will offer three $1,000 scholarships to graduating seniors who are accepted into a field of study in health care. Applicants must have a 3.0 GPA, demonstrate participation in school/community activities and reside in CLermont County. Applications are available in the guidance office. Deadline for application is March 24, 2011.

    GOSHEN HIGH SCHOOL ALUMNI ASSOCIATION SCHOLARSHIP

    The Goshen High School Alumni Association Scholarship is available to Goshen High Seniors who have at least a 2.5 GPA. Applications are available in the guidance office. Deadline for application is March 7, 2011. Each year the Alumni Association awards several $1000 scholarships.

    GRANT C. ALEXANDER SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

    ABS Business Products is sponsoring the Grant C. Alexander Scholarship Program for 2011. This scholarship awards $1,000 scholarships to academically worthy and financially eligible students. Applications are available in the guidance office and are due by April 1, 2011.

    VIETNAM VETERANS OF AMERICA SCHOLARSHIP

    Chapter 10 of Vietnam Veterans of America is accepting applications for its annual scholarship program available to students from the Greater Cincinnati area. These scholarships are available to veterans and their family members/dependents as set forth in the guidelines. Applications are available in the guidance office. Application deadline is April 10, 2011.

    GUY AND MABEL LYKINS SCHOLARSHIP

    The Lykins Companies, Inc. is again offering their Guy B. and Mabel Lykins Scholarship this year. Applicants must be pursuing a bachelors degree, have a GPA of at least a 3.0 and be actively involved in community service. Applications are available in the guidance office. Applications will be accepted beginning February 25, 2011 and must be postmarked on or before April 1, 2011.

    EASTERN HILLS ROD & GUN CLUB SCHOLARSHIP

    The Eastern Hills Rod & Gun Club is offering a $750 (annually renewable) scholarship to a Clermont County student who is pursuing a degree in conservation, forestry or wildlife management. The application is available in the guidance office and must be submitted by April 30, 2011.

    THE OHIO PTA MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

    The Ohio PTA Memorial Scholarship Program offers three different scholarships for high school seniors. One scholarship program is for students pursuing a Bachelors Degree, another program is for students pursuing an Associate Degree and the last is for a student who has a current IEP or 504 plan. The applications are available in the guidance office. Deadline for application is March 1, 2011. Applicants' family must be a member of the Ohio PTA.
    THE OHIO NEWSPAPER FOUNDATION MINORITY SCHOLARSHIP
    The Ohio Newspaper Association is again offering their Minority Journalism Scholarship for the 2011-2012 school year. Applicants must be African American, Hispanic, Asian American or American Indian, have a 2.5 GPA and be pursuing a newspaper journalism career. Applications are available in the guidance office. Deadline for application is March 31, 2011.

    THE CINCINNATI SCHOLARSHIP FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM
    The application for the 2011-2012 Cincinnati Scholarship Foundation Scholarship Program is now available in the guidance office. The Foundation administers over 80 different scholarships and students can fill out one application to be considered for all of the scholarships. Only applications postmarked on or before the April 30 deadline will be accepted.

    THE CLERMONT COUNTY EXCELLENCE IN EDUCATION SCHOLARSHIP
    The Clermont County Excellence in Education Fund is offering a $500 scholarship to a Clermont County senior who plans to pursue a degree in any Social Studies area. Applications are available in the guidance office. Deadline for application is March 26, 2011.

    THE WILLIAM D. SQUIRES EDUCATIONAL FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP
    The William D. Squires Scholarship will again be offered to 12 lucky seniors in the class of 2011. This scholarship is need-based. Any student who has an EFC (Expected Family Contribution) of less than $8,000 is eligible to apply. Applications are available in the guidance office. Deadline for application is April 5, 2011.


    TEACH GRANT PROGRAM

    The Teach Grant Program provides grants of up to $4,000 a year to students who intend to teach in a public or private school that serves students from low-income families. Students must agree to teach in areas that have been designated as shortage areas for the 2011-12 school year. Those areas are: Art-Visual and Performing, English/Language Arts, Foreign Language, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies-Civics/Government, Economics, Geography, History, Exceptional Children with Disabilities, Speech Pathology and TESOL. Recipients must agree to teach at least four years in the designated field and at a low-income school. For more information go to www.federalstudentaid.ed.gov.

    KFC COLONEL'S SCHOLARS PROGRAM

    The application process for the KFC Colonel's Scholars Program is now open. Students have until February 9 to visit www.kfcscholars.org to apply. To be eligible students must have at least a 2.75 gpa, plan to pursue a bachelors degree next year and demonstrate financial need. Awards can be up to $5,000 per year and can be renewable.

    SIMON YOUTH FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP
    The Simon Youth Foundation offers scholarships to seniors who live in close proximity of a Simon Property Mall (Monroe Prime Outlet Mall) and are planning to enroll in full time undergraduate study at a two or four year college next year. Applications are available in the guidance office. Interested students must complete the application and mail it along with a current, complete transcript of grades by January 5, 2011.

    ELKS NATIONAL FOUNDATION MOST VALUABLE STUDENT SCHOLARSHIP
    Any high school senior who is a U.S. citizen is eligible. Male and Female students compete separately for identical awards. Applications must be submitted to the Elks Lodge in closest proximity of your address.
    500 Awards for the 2011-12 through 2014-15 academic years will be given out.
    GREATER CINCINNATI AFRICAN AMERICAN SCHOLARSHIP FUND
    Scholarships range from $2,000 to $5,000 for African-American seniors who have at least a 2.8 GPA and are pursuing an Associate's or Bachelor's degree. Applications are available in the guidance office and are due February 7, 2011.
    U.S. BANK INTERNET SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM
    The U.S. Bank Internet Scholarship Program will award forty $1,000 scholarships to seniors this year. Recipients are chosen by a random drawing process. NO ESSAYS! Online applications are open from October through March, 2011. Go to usbank.com/scholarship to apply.
    CINCINNATI CHAPTER OF THE OHIO CREDIT UNION LEAGUE SCHOLARSHIP
    The Scholarship Committee of the Cincinnati Chapter of the Ohio Credit Union invites seniors to apply for one of nine $1,000 scholarships. Applicants must be a primary member of an Ohio Credit Union in Hamilton, Clermont, Brown or Adams County. A primary member simply has a savings or checking acount in the credit union. Applications are available in the guidance office. Deadline for application is February 11, 2011.

    WAYNESBURG UNIVERSITY OF PENNSYLVANIA OHIO HONORS SCHOLARSHIP

    If you have a GPA of at least 3.0, live in Ohio and want to major in the sciences or mathematics, you are eligible to compete for the Ohio Honors Scholarship. The scholarship, worth more than $100,000, includes full tuition, room & board for four years at Waynesburg University.
