Coming home is the mid-winter version of Homecoming, This week is an opportunity to raise money to off set the ever rising cost of the Junior-Senior Spring Prom. The Junior Class is sponsored by Mrs. Kelly Royal, Science teacher and Mrs. Beth Perrman, Special Education teacher.
During this week there are activities designed to lift school and class spirit during an otherwise dreary time of year. The student body will also actively be raising money for one of their own to get a new wheelchair.
The Class with the most spirit during the week will be awarded the spirit stick at the Friday afternoon Pep Rally. The spirit stick will be displayed in the trophy case for the rest of the school year with a plaque commending the winning class.
Activities for the week will include:
Monday - Roll out of bed day
Tuesday - Twin day -
Wednesday – Wacky wear day
Thursday – Red and Gray day – Class basketball game competition
Friday – Class t-shirt day – all money raised from the t-shirt sales goes to the wheelchair fund. Choir Talent show program 1 dollar from each ticket sold will go to the wheelchair fund, Pep Rally
Friday evening the Choir Talent show will be presented to the public at 7:00
Junior and Senior Students will also compete to see who can raise the most money to be King, Queen, Prince and Princess of the Coming Home dance. All the money from this fund raiser will go to the wheelchair fund. The dance will be held after the basketball game in the gym Saturday February 4th. It will end at 12:00, midnight.
