I want to take this space and opportunity to say Thank You Everyone for your support during my extended bout with shingles. I am getting better everyday and have been retuning to school (and the most important work I think there is) on a 1/2 day basis this week.
Shingles is a very painful and debilitating disease. Having it on my face, into my scalp and hair only made it worse. The doctors told me this was highly unusual - go figure! The cards, text messages of support, flowers and meals were so uplifting. I am truly fortunate to be a part of such a wonderful community.
