The Challenge is open to any Ohio school grades K-6. The Challenge is for students to participate in at least 20 minutes of activity for 40 out of 55 consecutive days. GMS' Physical Education Department ran the challenge from Oct. 3rd - Nov. 26th. The top 20 schools in Ohio with the highest percentage of participants, who meet the Challenge qualifications, can win a Radio Disney Dance Party. The Dance Party consists of 60 minutes of music, games and dancing. GMS 6th graders are using a "student tracking chart" to record their individual activity progress. Our goal is to get 100% participation rate for our 200 6th graders.
