1st Annual Turkey-Trot

3K Run/Walk

WHAT: 3K Run/Walk Event GMS students, staff and family members may participate.

WHO: All 7th and 8th grade Health/PE classes All students will participate as part of their Health and PE classes and earn class credit/grade. All participants who raise a minimal donation of $5 will receive a certificate of participation. Any participant who donates $10 or more will receive a free T-shirt.

WHEN: Tuesday November23, 2010 The event will take place during 6th and 7th period with a 12:45 pm start time.

WHERE: Goshen Local Schools’ Campus

The event will begin and conclude at Jim Brown Stadium.

WHY: To Raise Money for the local DAV chapter

This event will allow students to participate in “something bigger than

themselves.” In addition to this event being part of the ING running

program at GMS, students will be able to raise donations that will benefit

the local Disabled American Veterans chapter located in Camp Dennison.
