The Jump Rope for Heart fundraiser was a great success! Marr/Cook Elementary students raised $702.76 in donations for the American Heart Association. Thanks for all who participated in this worthwhile event! Thank you gifts will be arriving after the first of the year.
Just a reminder for safety reasons--PLEASE DO NOT HAVE YOUR STUDENT WEAR HARD HEELS OF ANY KIND OR SANDALS FOR GYM CLASS.
Physical Education is required and in order to have a safe and enjoyable gym class, all students must wear gym shoes and pants/shorts on their scheduled gym day. If weather permits, Physical Education classes will be held outside.
If your child is ill or injured and cannot participate in gym class, a written excuse is required. Grading is based primarily on participation rather than performance.
