Reading - Our class will read the informational fiction, "Dot and Jabber and the Great Acorn Mystery". We will work with the vowels in book and inflected endings. The comprehension skill will be compare and contrast. Please practice the spelling and vocabulary word lists, which were sent home Friday.
Math - Our class will work with symmetrical shapes, review money, and equal shares.
Grammar - We will practice and write adjectives that compare.
Science - *Plants/Seeds *Solids, Liquids, Gases
Writing - Our class will write in response to literature.
Family: Please read with your child daily. Check your child's math homework. It is important for you to sign your child's agenda daily. He/'She gets credit for doing homework when agenda is signed.
Please check to make sure your child has done the work in the spelling packet. If it is not complete, they must do it here.
