Vicki Carpenter

Hello! My name is Vicki Carpenter and I am a 1st Grade teacher at Marr Cook Elementary. This is my 14th year teaching at Marr Cook. I received my Bachelor of Science in Education from Murray State University. I received my Master’s Degree from Wright State University.

My husband, Charlie, and I were raised in Loveland. We have two grown children and five beautiful grandchildren. I am very actively following each of them in their sports and scouting activities.

I am very excited about this school year and for the opportunity to work with your child. I’m dedicated to making this a busy, productive – and terrific- year for all of my students and will be communicating with you often about my classroom plans, your child’s progress, school events and other activities as they arise.

It is my goal to work very closely with parents to insure that each child is reaching his or her potential. I believe you are a very important part of your child’s learning process. Please see the “Take Home Folder.” It will contain homework papers and notes from teacher/school. Please send any notes to me in this folder. Your child's Agenda will also be sent home. This book will monitor daily behavior and nightly homework. Please check this daily and sign so that I may give your child credit for doing homework. The students will receive a point everytime they do homework. When they have 10 points, they will earn a treat! Thank you for your support.
