Welcome to 2nd Grade!
My name is Mrs. Lisa Senter and I have been a teacher at Marr/Cook Elementary for eight years! I earned my teaching degree from Wittenberg University in Springfield, Ohio and my master's degree in Educational Leadership from the University of Cincinnati. Recently, I earned a certification in gifted education from UC. My husband and I have been married for four years and enjoy spending time with our cats, traveling and working in our yard.
2nd grade is a very important year! Parents and home support are an important part of our classroom. Please contact me whenever you have a concern or question. Our main source of communication will be your child’s Take Home Folder and Agenda. Please check these each night as it will contain important notes from school, a daily behavior log, and homework. The best way to contact me is to write a note and put it in your child’s Take Home Folder or Agenda. I will check agendas daily and will send a note back to you in your child’s agenda. You can also reach me by e-mail or call me at school and leave a message during the day. If you wish to reach me by phone after school, I will be available each night at school until at least 4:15pm. Please feel free to leave me a message anytime and I will get back to you as soon as I can.
